26 days old - 35 weeks

Alyssa had a wonderful Tuesday. She gained 29 grams and is currently 3 lbs 5 oz. Tuesday evening I got the opportunity to practice nursing again with Alyssa which went very well. Alyssa continues to take most of her breast milk through the tube in her nose. Hopefully she begins to eat more through breast feeding which then they will cut back on her feeding amount going in the tube. Alyssa is also 35 weeks old. It's still very weird that she is already here since she should still be in my belly for another month or so.

Alyssa's aunt Erika will be participating and raising money for March of Dimes, which is foundation who helps support premature babies.1 in every 8 babies is born too soon and too small.
